I have more than 15 years of experience in leading corporate and technology strategy at Japanese multinational technology companies. As Executive Strategist of the Digital Systems & Services Division at Hitachi, Ltd., I am actively involved in the formulation of the growth strategy and transformation of Hitachi’s digital businesses. During my tenure at Sony, as the head of the Technology Strategy Division, I was responsible for developing and implementing the technology vision and technology strategy for the entire Sony Group, working across all business units in Sony and covering a wide array of technologies.
In addition, I have wide experience in business development and marketing in the Japanese market for enterprise software products, such as software development tools, web application servers, and system performance management tools.
For 6 years, I taught Operations Management at Hitotsubashi Business School’s MBA program and for 5 years, Technology Management at Waseda Business School’s MBA program.
I hold a B.S in Electrical Engineering of California Institute of Technology, an M.S in Electrical & Computer Engineering of Rutgers University, an M.S in Management of Harvard University, and attended the Doctoral Program in Science, Technology, and Management at Harvard University/Harvard Business School
