On Thursday, May 8th, 2025, Shizenkan University will hold a special online information session especially for those who are interested in sustainability in business.
Shizenkan University Graduate School of Leadership & Innovation is a unique leadership education institution that seeks to develop innovative and thoughtful leaders who are highly attuned to the current issues impacting society and humanity. It offers a part-time two-year MBA program, with classes taking place twice per week on evenings and weekends. The leadership and business program incorporates our unique liberal arts courses to nurture our students’ understanding of the world, history, and humanity.

Prof. Peter David Pedersen
Peter David Pedersen is the Co-founder and CEO of E-Square Inc., one of Japan’s first sustainability/CSR consultancies, a position he held from 2000-2011. In 2015, he co-founded NELIS – Next Leaders’ Initiative for Sustainability, which aims to connect, inspire and empower young practitioners in the field of sustainability and social innovation worldwide. He began teaching as a Shizenkan University professor in 2019.
He is presently also on the Board of Mitsubishi Electric, Meiji Holdings and the Marui Group as independent director.

Prof. Katsuhiko Yoshikawa
Katsuhiko’s research focuses on organizational behavior and human resource management in contemporary organizations that face globalization and digitalization, and he has published research articles in prominent academic journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Studies, and Journal of World Business.
He also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer at journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Management and International Journal of Human Resource Management.
