Shizenkan University (henceforth/also "we") has established the following privacy policy. We will promote the safeguarding of privacy based on this policy.

SAFETY AND SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information and loss, as well as the manipulation, falsification, and/or leakage of personal information. We will strictly manage your personal information to keep it accurate and up to date. Any data collected is kept on our University’s servers and access is restricted.

USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may use your information in the following circumstances, unless required by law:

• 1) To manage educational, developmental, and information dissemination activities by us which include your participation.
• 2) To examine and analyze the status of usage in order to improve management of educational, developmental, and information dissemination activities by us which include your participation.
• 3) To provide information on educational, developmental, and information dissemination activities other than those described in 1).

SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may share your personal information we have received with our wholly owned subsidiary, Shizenkan EDX Inc. In addition, we apply the same regulations and privacy policy and take appropriate security measures to manage your personal information with our subsidiary.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We do not disclose your personal information to any third parties without your consent, except when required by law. There may be cases where we fully or partially outsource our operations. In such cases, we take appropriate security measures with such outsource parties to prevent leaks, disclosures, and/or misuse of your personal information.

REFERENCE, CORRECTION AND DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Upon request, any reference, correction, and/or deletion of use of your personal information will be promptly confirmed by us and executed within a reasonable period of time.

We comply with Japanese laws and regulations and other standards applicable to your personal information.
