Shizenkan is a highly unique graduate school in Japan that cultivates future leaders by integrating Eastern and Western philosophies. In this event, we will provide detailed information about Shizenkan’s programs and scholarships.
Additionally, alumni and current students from Indonesia will share their experiences at Shizenkan, including student life and key learnings from the program. During the Q&A session, participants can ask any questions individually, such as balancing studies with work or career changes after graduation. The event will be held in a casual setting, and communication will be available in both Bahasa and English. We welcome you to join us!
About Shizenkan:
Shizenkan adalah sekolah bisnis di Jepang yang menawarkan program MBA dengan pendekatan unik yang mengintegrasikan filosofi Timur dan Barat. Program ini bertujuan untuk mendidik para pemimpin masa depan yang mampu menciptakan perubahan positif bagi masyarakat. Dalam acara ini, kami akan memberikan penjelasan komprehensif mengenai program MBA Shizenkan, termasuk berbagai peluang beasiswa yang tersedia. Selain itu, mahasiswa dan alumni asal Indonesia akan berbagi pengalaman mereka selama menjalani studi di Shizenkan, termasuk wawasan yang mereka peroleh dan manfaat yang dirasakan. Sesi tanya jawab juga akan diselenggarakan, dimana peserta dapat mengajukan pertanyaan langsung terkait berbagai topik, seperti prospek karir setelah lulus, strategi dalam menyeimbangkan studi dan pekerjaan, serta aspek lainnya yang relevan. Acara ini akan diselenggarakan dalam bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia dalam suasana yang interaktif dan terbuka. ![]() Prof. Masataka Uo Vice President and Professor, Shizenkan University Director of the Shizenkan Impact Economy Center
His areas of expertise include creating and evaluating social impact, impact businesses, NPOs, philanthropy, fundraising, and international cooperation.
After working at JICA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and NPOs in the United States, he founded Fundrex Co., Ltd. in 2008, Japan’s first strategic consulting firm specializing in NPOs and social businesses. In 2009, he established the Japan Fundraising Association. He also served as the Deputy Representative of JICA Indonesia office and the Director of the Indonesia section at JICA HDQ for six years in total.
He is actively promoting private-sector funding solutions, such as donations and impact investing, to help Japan become a leader in solving social challenges. |

My work primarily focuses on multi-story housing and mixed-use buildings.
