On Tuesday, May 20th, 2025 Shizenkan University will hold an online special  information session especially for those who are interested in circular economy.

 

Shizenkan University Graduate School of Leadership & Innovation is a unique leadership education institution that seeks to develop innovative and thoughtful leaders who are highly attuned to the current issues impacting society and humanity. It offers a part-time two-year MBA program, with classes taking place twice per week on evenings and weekends. The leadership and business program incorporates our unique liberal arts courses to nurture our students’ understanding of the world, history, and humanity.

Yu Kato

A dynamic leader in Japan’s CE field, Mr. Kato has been at the forefront of promoting CE awareness through his online media platforms Ideas for Good and Circular Economy Hub. As CEO of Harch Co., Ltd., he also advises companies and local governments on real-world CE implementation.

 

 

 

Akira Sakano

After majoring in environmental policy at university, she worked at an NGO in Mongolia and a logistics company in the Philippines before joining the Zero Waste Academy, an NPO responsible for waste management in Kamikatsu, Tokushima Prefecture, the first town in Japan to declare a “Zero Waste” policy. As Chairperson, she contributed promoting local waste reduction initiatives and advancing the spread of zero-waste practices both in Japan and internationally. Now she supports local governments and communities to implement zero waste practices across Japan.

Prof. Katsuhiko Yoshikawa 

Katsuhiko’s research focuses on organizational behavior and human resource management in contemporary organizations that face globalization and digitalization, and he has published research articles in prominent academic journals such as Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Studies, and Journal of World Business. 

He also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer at journals such as Asia Pacific Journal of Management and International Journal of Human Resource Management. 

 

During this session, we will provide information and answer questions about the programs and the upcoming admissions. We hope that you will gain a deeper understanding of what Shizenkan can provide in value to those who want to create a sustainable society.
