On November 29 2022, Dr. Shinji Miyadai, an Adjunct Professor at Shizenkan, was physically attacked and injured on the campus grounds of his main institution, the Tokyo Metropolitan University.

It is fortunate that the injuries he sustained were not life-threatening, he has recently been discharged from hospital, and is steadily recovering.

Shizenkan does not tolerate and condone such actions and behavior against a member of our faculty under any circumstances.

Such violent attacks against others are completely unacceptable and goes against the philosophy of Shizenkan, which is to realize a rich and peaceful human society through education.
